He’s leading a double life
And she can barely keep up with just one

Sean “Damage” Sanders is the biggest rock star in the UK, but Baltimore native April Leyeni has never heard of him. All she knows is that the big man with the hypnotic hazel eyes isn’t the bad boy he’d like you to think he is.

April, never one to stick with one thing for very long, tries to move on from Sean—she doesn’t need another man in her life that pretends to be something he’s not—but something just keeps drawing them back together. Fate? The internet? April’s crowd of busy-body friends? Maybe the Greek god Dionysus?

This light romantic comedy is a short BWWM novel with no cliffhanger and a HEA. No extra padding, just approximately 45K words of new book.

Major Damage to the Heart A BWWM Romantic Comedy edition by Mia Caldwell Romance eBooks Reviews

This was a good story. There were a few typo's. I'm not a big fan of women chasing men especially when they don't seem interested, but for story purposes it worked for this book
This book was so unusual for a Mia Caldwell book. I keep looking at the author's name to major sure I was reading the correct. I received the book free for an honest review. It's s good thing it was free. Nothing said Mia Caldwell in this book. It was a chore to get through the book. It wasn't a bad book. It just didn't read as a Mia Caldwell book. For a while thought I would have to email her rather than writs a review. April and Sean made you want to keep reading to find out what would happen with them. Their friends were over the top and gave April excellent advice. I loved how what came out, came up with Mia. This was a comedy but the love was missing until practically the end. It seems that Ms. Caldwell is changing her style if writing. This one doesn't make the grade. Perhaps you could mesh your old style of writing with your new. I've read you other books with your new style of writing and loved them. This book took me over a week to finish which is not good. The ending was excellent. The entire book should have been like the ending. I couldn't quite give this four stars but don't know how to give a rating of 3 1/2 stars. You might not want me to review your books and I also may want to stop reviewing them if they're like this one. I can always buy them and throw them back.
I have read several books by this author. Although I liked the book, it wasn't quite what I expected. Sean leads a double life and April falls for the "normal, regular" guy while having to deal with the life created by the "famous version of himself". I think April accepts way too much from Sean and maybe seemed "door-mattish" instead of loving and understanding. Overall, it was okay and you get your HEA.
I've read other Mia Caldwell books before and usually I dive right in but this one took me a minute to get into I'm not sure exactly why but it wasn't what I thought. I feel the interaction between April and Sean should have been a bit more. Really they only have a couple of interactions befor they are seperated by months again. April drove me nuts with how desperate for him she seemed when every guy before him she would dump in an instant. I was happy to see she finally figured out she was doing too much and decided to grow up a little and stop acting so crazy over him. What I got a feel for especially towards the end of when he professes his intention to be with her is that this took on a Notting Hill sort of feel and I' guess another reader felt the same way. You know "the boy meets famous girl in store completely unaware of who he is and falls hard then tired of getting heart broken so I turn him down only to have my friends tell me I messed up so we all jump in the car to stop him from leaving" feel. I've definitely read better by Mia. I did enjoying finally reading Sean's POV as the entire book stemed from Aprils POV. The ending was cute but this definitely was not one of my favorites by this author.
Really unbelievable and misguided. I couldn't get into the love story but it has its funny moments. Characters were very mismatch.
This is a sweet romance. It has a little bit of a rollercoaster but I loved all of the characters. And a HEA is always a treat
This ia the perfect story for those days of work-related stress. I enjoyed the interactions of the characters.
Love this book and this is a new author for me but I will be reading more of her books.
